Patrick has 40 years of police and security experience in the fields of crisis management, investigations, and vulnerability assessments.  He assists clients in all industries in managing a myriad of business, financial, legal and reputational risk.  He currently is a preferred vendor to a large global security firm and is the primary security consultant for a global women’s sports association.

 

Patrick is the founder and owner of Serpico Investigations and Consulting Corp. and since 2013, has specialized in conducting criminal investigations, skip tracing investigations, due diligence, executive protection, as well as physical, threat and vulnerability assessments to include protective intelligence.     

 

Previously, Patrick spent 25 years as a Minnesota State Trooper. During his tenure, Patrick served as the Commander of the Executive Protection Unit for several Minnesota State Governors.  He also was the Director of Security for the Minnesota State Capitol Complex which consisted of 37 buildings to include the State Capital itself, The House of Representatives, The Senate, and the Supreme Court. In addition, Patrick served on the special weapons and tactics team (SWAT), as well as the narcotics, and detective units. He has received numerous awards during his time as a state trooper and is a graduate of the nationally recognized Police Executive Management Training Course (PERF).

 

Patrick is a certified private detective in Georgia and Florida which allows him limited license recognition agreements in several additional states. He is an active and current member of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).

Patrick graduated from Minnesota State University in 1984 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
